This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.simbase.com (the "Site"). This policy is maintained by Simbase INC., a Delaware corporation with offices at [US ADDRESS] ("we," "us," or "our").
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
"Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
"Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
"Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information as well as any additional information you provide to us directly, such as your name, email address, company name, and account details when you register for our services or contact us.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
We use the Personal Information you provide to us to deliver our IoT connectivity services, process your transactions, manage your account, communicate with you about our services, and provide customer support.
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site — you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We may also share your Personal Information with service providers and subprocessors who assist us in operating our platform and delivering our services. A current list of our subprocessors is available at simbase.com/terms/subprocessors. All service providers are contractually obligated to use your Personal Information only for the purposes of providing services to us and to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Simbase INC. does not sell your personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or any other applicable state privacy law. We do not exchange your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative's ("NAI") educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.

Additionally, you can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal at: http://optout.aboutads.info/.
We honor opt-out preference signals recognized under applicable state privacy laws, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser. For general Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, there is currently no industry-wide standard for how companies should respond, and we do not alter our data collection practices in response to DNT signals specifically.

If you are a California resident, under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you and request details about how it is collected, used, and shared; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (though we do not sell your data); limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
If you are a Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Montana resident (or a resident of another state with an applicable privacy law), you generally have similar rights to: access your personal information; request its deletion; request corrections; opt out of targeted advertising; and opt out of profiling in decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the reason and the expected timeframe, which will not exceed an additional 45 days.
If we decline your request, you have the right to appeal our decision. We will provide instructions for how to submit an appeal, and you may also contact your state's Attorney General with any concerns.
Additionally, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you order a product or service through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests. Please also note that your information may be transferred outside of your state of residence for processing on servers located in other US states or countries.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide our services, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Our Site and services are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice such as an email notification.
